Overview
The project focuses on Techno-economic
feasibility study and modelling of solar water pumping and desalination systems
to be utilized for agriculture in Jordan, and West Gaza. This includes
investigating detailed energy efficiency (EE) measures so as to minimize the
size and cost of the proposed solar PV power system.
The project was in
collaboration between ABB Ltd, UTAH / USA University, Water Centre in Palestine
and the Water, Energy and Environment Centre at the Jordan University.
